Report: Spurs are one of five PL clubs who want to sign Galatasaray star

HITC have revealed that Tottenham Hotspur are set to battle four other Premier League sides for the services of Galatasaray sensation Baris Alper Yilmaz this summer.

Galatasaray are currently sitting pretty at the top of the Super Lig table and Yilmaz’s displays are one of the reasons why, with the winger having scored six goals and provided nine assists across all competitions so far this season (Transfermarkt).

The versatile attacker, who can play on either flank or even as a centre-forward, is allegedly thought to be attracting interest from a number of Premier League sides.

Tottenham want Baris Alper Yilmaz from Galatasaray

HITC reveal that Spurs have been joined in the race for the 23-year-old by Aston Villa, Manchester United, Bournemouth and Brighton and Hove Albion ahead of the summer transfer window.

It is explained that many of these clubs have watched the winger in action and that the player’s versatility appeals to them.

Turkish publication Aksam have also reported on Aston Villa’s interest in the Turkey international while explaining that Galatasaray want around £22m for his services this summer.
