HITC name Tottenham Hotspur among four Premier League clubs who are now ‘pushing hardest’ to land Copenhagen sensation Roony Bardghji ahead of the summer.
During the January window, Tottenham secured the services of one of the best young Swedish starlets in the form of Lucas Bergvall and it turns out that the North London club are also eyeing another emerging talent from the Scandinavian country – Bardghji.
The 18-year-old has been making waves in the Danish league, having found the back of the net 11 times across all competitions so far this season and various sources have suggested over recent weeks that the Lilywhites are keeping an eye on the teenager’s development (Fabrizio Romano – YouTube).
In fact, last month, the winger himself talked up the possibility of a move to Spurs, admitting in an interview with Aftonbladet that he is quite excited about the idea of linking up with his compatriots Dejan Kulusevski and Bergvall at N17.

Tottenham have competition for Roony Bardghji
HITC have now also confirmed that Tottenham are keen on Bardghji but they say that Ange Postecoglou’s side have plenty of competition to contend with from other Premier League sides for the player.
The outlet claims that Spurs, Man Utd, Aston Villa and Newcastle are now all pushing to sign the Copenhagen star, who is said to be valued at £20m.
The publication adds that Bardghji is expected to depart Parken Stadium at the end of the season and that several sides have already begun talks to sign the youngster via intermediaries.
Spurs Web Opinion
We know from Tottenham’s failed pursuit of Antonio Nusa in January that the club is in the market for young, up-and-coming wide players. Spurs could have an advantage over other suitors in the race for Bardghji, given technical director Johan Lange’s connections at Copenhagen.
