TuttoMercatoWeb have revealed that Tottenham Hotspur are one of several clubs around Europe who are now ready to launch an offer for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.
Osimhen has had a prolific year in Naples, having found the back of the net 28 times across all competitions this season.
The goals have carried Luciano Spalletti‘s men to a historic title triumph and have boosted the 23-year-old’s reputation as one of the best marksmen in Europe.
TMW now claim that a whole host of clubs across the continent, including Spurs, are now ready to launch an offer for the Nigeria international.
The publication names Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal as the other clubs who are willing to do as Napoli brace themselves for bids.
However, it is asserted that the Serie A club’s chairman Aurelio De Laurentiis has requested a whopping €160m (£139m) for Osimhen, which is considered too excessive by the aforementioned clubs.
Spurs Web Opinion
A move for Osimhen is completely out of the question for Spurs even if Kane leaves the club as the Nigerian will not join a team who are not in the Champions League.
Dusan Vlahovic would be a much more realistic target for us in the event that we lose the England captain.
