Report: Spurs are still in the picture to sign this PSG midfielder

Tottenham Hotspur have been involved in a number of transfer sagas already this summer, but the club have been linked to one player in particular all throughout last season.

PSG academy graduate Adrien Rabiot will be available on a free in the coming days, as his contract runs out at his current club.

The deal ends at the end of June, and with pre-season on the horizon, someone will surely snap him up before long.

Rabiot has been linked with a move to Spurs since the January transfer window (Express).

France Football claim that Juventus are keen on the midfield man, but are putting up with competition from other clubs across Europe, including Tottenham.

They claim that both Spurs and Manchester United have ‘made solicitations’ this summer over a potential signing.

France Football also claim that they do not think Rabiot will make a U-turn and sign a new contract at PSG after everything that has happened.

Spurs have yet to replace Mousa Dembele in their squad, and Rabiot could just be the man to fill that void.

Spurs Web Opinion:

If Levy can bring him in for a small signing on fee and sensible wages, then I would say this is a good transfer. Rabiot may be a bit of a trouble-maker, but Poch would soon stamp that out of him, and the young man clearly has talent.
