Report: Spurs are ‘very attentive’ to the situation of Serie A winger 

SOS Fanta have revealed that Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing a move for Genoa winger Albert Gudmundsson in January.

Gudmundsson was outstanding in Serie B for Genoa last season, playing a key role in the club securing promotion and the versatile attacker has taken the Italian top-flight by storm so far this season, with five goals in 11 league games (Transfermarkt).

According to SOS Fanta, Spurs are now ‘very attentive’ to the 26-year-old’s situation, having ‘sent emissaries on more than one occasion’ to watch him in action this season.

Tottenham are looking at Albert Gudmundsson

The report adds that Tottenham are not alone in their admiration of the Iceland international, with AS Roma also keen on securing his services.

However, it is explained that for the moment, Gudmundsson is not thinking about the transfer and is ‘totally focused’ on doing well for Genoa.

The publication adds that Rossoblu wish to tie down the winger to a new contract and have made progress in talks with his representative.
