Report: Spurs are ‘well positioned’ to sign 20-year-old winger in the summer

Tottenham News have revealed that Spurs are well-positioned to win the race to sign Dinamo Zagreb starlet Luka Stojkovic in the summer.

Tottenham secured one of the best young talents from Croatian football last summer, securing the services of Luka Vuskovic from Hajduk Split, with the centre-back currently out on loan at Polish side Radomiak Radom.

It now turns out that the North London side are looking to raid the Croatian top flight for another emerging star in the form of Stojkovic.

Spurs are well positioned to go for Stojkovic

The 20-year-old scored two goals and provided two assists in his first four league appearances but has not featured since suffering a cruciate ligament tear last year.

Tottenham News have revealed that the Croatia under-21 international is expected to return to action sometime next month.

The outlet states that they have heard from a well-placed recruitment source with links to the Croatian market that Spurs hold an interest in the player and are keeping a close eye on his performances.

However, the publication adds that Stojkovic is also on the radar of ‘several top Premier League sides’ without naming the teams in question.
