Report: Spurs are willing to accept an offer of £10m-£15m for player this summer

Football Insider have revealed that Tottenham Hotspur would be willing to accept an appropriate offer from Leeds United for Joe Rodon this summer.

Rodon has excelled on loan at Elland Road this season and with the centre-back having just one year left on his contract at Tottenham, it looks certain that he will leave the Lilywhites permanently this summer.

Over the last couple of months, it has been reported that the centre-back’s displays have altered several top-flight sides and that Leeds would have to compete with various Premier League clubs for the 26-year-old’s services this summer (TEAMtalk).

However, the Championship club are allegedly not prepared to give up without a fight, with various sources suggesting that the Welshman will be their number one target if they win promotion (Peter O’Rourke – Inside Track podcast).

Football Insider have now also talked up the chances of Daniel Farke’s men making an offer for the centre-back when the window opens in June.

The report says that Tottenham will listen to bids for the former Swansea man, with the Premier League side said to value the player at £10m-£15m.

The publication does not say if Leeds are prepared to pay that amount but it is asserted that the Championship club would ‘love’ to make Rodon’s loan deal permanent.

Spurs Web Opinion

Leeds still face a fight on their hands to bounce straight back up to the Premier League and if they fail to do so, I do not think they will be successful in their pursuit of Rodon. I expect a few top-flight sides to come forward with an interest in the Tottenham centre-back this summer.
