Dean Jones has revealed in his column on GiveMeSport that Tottenham Hotspur continue to hold a keen interest in Antonio Nusa after missing out on the Club Brugge winger in January.
The report points out that Spurs were ‘pushing to secure’ Nusa’s signature during the winter transfer window and that the North London side have not given up hope of securing the player when the transfer market reopens in the summer.
However, Jones says that Ange Postecoglou’s men are being ‘very cautious’ about the winger’s value after he failed a medical at Brentford, which has allegedly raised some concerns.

Tottenham are still monitoring Antonio Nusa
The journalist points out that the 18-year-old also missed Brugge’s last game with a hamstring problem, which Tottenham are wary of.
Jones asserts that Brugge are expected to stick to the £25m valuation that they demanded for Nusa during the previous transfer window.
He adds that while Brentford have called off their pursuit of the Norway international, other clubs could now enter the race before June.

We know that Postecoglou likes Nusa but Tottenham’s main concern is clearly about the winger’s fitness and that is something the Lilywhites will continue to assess closely over the next few months before deciding whether to push ahead with an offer for the youngster in the summer.
