Report: Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal pursuing cut-price move for Inter Milan star

Tottenham, Chelsea and Arsenal are all interested in signing Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic for a cut-price deal this month, according to the Mirror.

The 32-year-old has less than six months remaining on his current deal at the San Siro, meaning the Nerazzurri are at risk of losing him for nothing come the end of the season.

Reports have claimed Perisic would not mind signing a new contract with Inter, but talks of a deal have stalled with a disparity of terms between club and player.

That may leave Simone Inzaghi’s side pressured into a possible sale of the Croatia international this month according to the Mirror, with a trio of Premier League sides waiting in the wings for a potential coup.

The report explains that Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal are keeping tabs on the situation, with Inter open to ‘viable offers’ at a reduced price instead of losing him for free in the summer.

However, it is added that a move to the Blues is currently the most likely outcome, with Thomas Tuchel keen to strengthen his options at left wing-back following Ben Chilwell’s lengthy injury.

Antonio Conte has worked with Perisic before during his spell at Inter and obviously knows how the player operates. He would be a decent short-term option, but Spurs have a decent enough cover on the left side at the moment. It also isn’t a profile that Spurs would have typically pursued in the past.
