Report: Spurs coaching staff have ‘serious concerns’ over player’s attitude

Tottenham’s coaching staff still have major concerns over Tanguy Ndombele’s attitude and will move the midfielder on this summer if they can, according to Bleacher Report.

Ndombele has failed to live up to expectations in North London following a club record £55million move from Lyon last summer.

There have been plenty of contradictory reports regarding the midfielder’s future over the past few weeks.

While some reports have suggested that Spurs are open to selling the midfielder (Football Insider), others have insisted that the club remain confident that he can turn his fortunes around in North London next season (Mirror).

Bleacher Report’s Dean Jones now suggests that the 23-year-old’s attitude is a real cause for concern for the coaching staff at Spurs and they are prepared to allow him to leave under the right conditions.

The report claims that Tottenham are currently attempting to find a buyer for the French international and will sell him if they can recoup the money they paid for him last summer.

It is said that the Lilywhites have already reached out to Barcelona to see if the Catalan giants are interested while approaches to other clubs have not been ruled out in the future.

One noticeable trend over the last couple of weeks is that Tottenham are suddenly being linked with several creative midfielders like Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Ivan Rakitic. These links would only make sense if the club is preparing to move Ndombele on and is anticipating an influx of cash from the sale. So my gut feeling is that there might be truth to suggestions that Spurs have transfer-listed Ndombele.
