Report: Spurs complete the signing of Spanish League starlet

Tottenham Hotspur have still not signed a senior player in nearly a year and a half, with Lucas Moura being the freshest face in the squad, despite signing back in January 2018.

However, Tottenham may have just added another starlet to their youth ranks this week, with a report claiming that the club have signed a youngster from Celta Vigo.

El Desmarque, a Spanish publication, have claimed that Spurs have signed Yago de Santiago, a 16-year-old prospect.

De Santiago is said to have scored 11 goals in 25 games for the Celta Cadete and B Juvenil sides last season.

He is a midfielder and will join the first year scholars next season on a youth contract after impressing the academy coaches.

Details on the player are few and far between, but he looks to have joined Kion Etete as the second youngster signed by Spurs this month (Nottingham Post).

Not the signing that Spurs fans would have been hoping for, but you never know, he could go on to become a star.
