Report: Spurs ‘completely convinced’ about star after tracking him for 3 years

Eurosport have claimed that Tottenham Hotspur have made up their minds with regards to making a move for Joachim Andersen when the transfer window opens this summer.

Andersen has enjoyed an impressive season on loan at Fulham and the Cottagers’ form has improved considerably since his return to the side after recovering from injury.

Alasdair Gold has claimed that the Dane is one of the options that Spurs are considering as the club look to bolster their options in central defence.

It has been reported that Lyon have already received a ‘serious enquiry’ from an unnamed English club for the 24-year-old.

Sources claim that the Ligue 1 club are ready to accept an offer of around £25m for the centre-back this summer.

Eurosport has now stated that Tottenham are ‘completely convinced’ by Anderson on the back of his performances at Craven Cottage.

The report reveals that the North Londoners have been tracking his progress for the last three years and are now ready to make an offer for him.

While Andersen might not be the answer to all our issues at centre-back, he could prove to be a very good addition for the rumoured price. The fact that he now has a year of Premier League experience under his belt could allow him to hit the ground running at Spurs rather than taking time to settle in.
