Tottenham are weighing up a move to sign highly-rated Dynamo Kyiv defender Ilya Zabarnyi, according to Football.London.
It is claimed that Spurs could ramp up their pursuit of the 19-year-old Ukraine international this summer, having monitored his performances last season.
Zabarnyi made 23 appearances for the Dynamo Kyiv last term with 15 coming in the Ukrainian Premier League (Transfermarkt) before it was suspended due to the Russian invasion of the country.
The versatile centre-back, who can play on either side of defence, progressed through Dynamo Kyiv’s youth academy and broke into the senior squad for the first time in July 2019.
After being handed his first-team debut a year later, Zabarnyi has since cemented a permanent spot in the line-up and penned a five-year contract in October last year.
He started and completed Ukraine’s World Cup qualifying play-off tie last Sunday which culminated in a narrow 1-0 defeat to Wales.

Zabarnyi has already made quite a lot of progression in his career despite his young age and he could definitely be someone that fits Spurs.
While there will be a focus on bringing in ready-made players, someone like Zabarnyi would be a good prospect to sign for the future.
