TEAMtalk claim that Tottenham Hotspur are now plotting a move for AS Roma striker Tammy Abraham, who has been told that he is free to leave the Stadio Olimpico this summer.

While Abraham had an impressive first season at Roma after his switch to the Italian capital in 2021, the centre-forward has since gone off the boil.
Abraham is returning from an ACL injury
The England international missed the majority of last season due to an ACL injury and according to TEAMtalk, he has now been put on the shop window, with the Serie A side ready to listen to offers for him.
The report says that signing a number nine is one of Ange Postecoglou’s priorities this summer and the North London club ‘could be tempted’ to make a move for the former Chelsea man.

Tottenham are looking at Tammy Abraham
Spurs could face some competition as West Ham are said to be ‘very keen’ on signing Abraham while Aston Villa, Bournemouth and Leicester are also allegedly monitoring his situation.
The outlet adds that the 26-year-old is keen to return to the Premier League this summer, with Roma thought to value him at £40m.
Spurs Web Opinion
Abraham might have been an okay fit for a Conte or Mourinho team but he is not technically good enough to lead the line for Ange Postecoglou’s side.
I would be extremely surprised if Tottenham pushed ahead with a move for the Giallorossi forward.
Spending £40million on Abraham would be a disaster, the club would be much better off spending a few million more on a target such as Ivan Toney.
