Report: Spurs could be without attacking player due to illness against Burnley

Tottenham Hotspur will assess the condition of Dejan Kulusevski this morning ahead of the lunchtime kick-off against Burnley, according to Football.London.

The Swedish international has reportedly been feeling unwell, which is not covid-related in the past few days with Antonio Conte set to make a decision on his availability of whether he is fit enough to take his place in the matchday squad.
Kulusevski’s potential absence would likely see a start for Lucas Moura on the right hand side of the attacking front three alongside Harry Kane and Heung-min Son.
Moura replaced the 21-year-old in the starting eleven for the recent match against Leicester City but found himself taken off in the 55th minute in favour of Kulusevski.
Alternatively, the Italian could call upon Steven Bergwijn to deputise for the visit of the Clarets.

Kulusevski’s absence would be a big blow to Tottenham given not only his attacking threat in the final third, but also his work rate to track back and help Emerson Royal out in defensive situations.
