Report: Juventus worried Spurs could move for two targets after Conte arrival

According to a report in TuttoJuve24, there are concerns around Juventus that Tottenham Hotspur will swoop for a couple of their targets following Antonio Conte’s appointment.

It has been reported in the British press that Conte could be handed a £150m war chest by Tottenham to rebuild his squad.

TuttoJuve have now backed that up, claiming that the Italian ‘will be given a large budget’ and that Spurs ‘will spare no expense’ as the 52-year-old goes about ‘revolutionising’ the current squad.

The report adds that Juve are particularly concerned that Spurs could beat them to two of their January transfer targets – Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic and AC Milan defender Alessio Romagnoli.

The report claims that Conte ‘likes’ Vlahovic, who the Old Lady have been negotiating with over recent weeks.

It is explained that Tottenham could put the money on the table to snap up the Serbian international, especially with Fiorentina hesitant to sell the 21-year-old to a domestic rival.

In addition, Romagnoli is also thought to be on the wishlist of Massimiliano Allegri but it is stated that Tottenham ‘could change’ the central defender’s plans.
