Fichajes have revealed that Tottenham Hotspur could make a shock move for Manchester United’s Harry Maguire this summer.
Maguire has not been a regular in Man Utd’s starting eleven under Erik Ten Hag, with the centre-back making just 16 league appearances this season despite the Red Devils’ injury woes (Transfermarkt).
With the former Leicester City man entering the final year of his contract at Old Trafford this June, it is suggested that the club could cash in on him.

Fichajes now say that Ange Postecoglou is keen on reinforcing his backline ahead of next season, with Maguire being one of the players that he has his eye on.
The report claims that the Lilywhites like the England international as an option as he would add leadership and valuable experience to their backline.
It is asserted that Tottenham could thus offer the central defender a route out of Manchester when the transfer window reopens in June.

Maguire is a much better player than many give him credit for and it is quite unfair how the centre-back has been turned into a bit of a joke on social media.
Having said that, he is simply not a good fit for Postecoglou’s high line as he lacks the mobility and pace to play in the system.
