Report: Spurs could make move for 25-year-old wing-back next summer

CMW.it have claimed that Tottenham Hotspur could launch a move for Inter Milan left-back Federico Dimarco next summer.

Over recent weeks, reports have suggested that Spurs are expected to make a move for Inter’s Denzel Dumfries in January, with Antonio Conte said to have identified the Dutchman as the ideal replacement for Emerson Royal (Rudy Galetti).

If CMW.it’s latest update is to be believed, Dumfries is not the only Inter wing-back that Spurs have their eye on, with Dimarco also thought to be on the North London club’s wishlist.

The 25-year-old has managed six goal contributions across all competitions in the first part of the season (Transfermarkt), and his performances are said to have caught the eye of several top clubs across Europe.

It is alleged that Conte wants to reunite with Dimarco at Spurs at the end of the current season. As things stand, the Nerazzurri reportedly value the Italy international at €35m-€40m (£30.4m-£34.8m).

Spurs Web Opinion

I would be surprised if Spurs sign a left wing-back next summer, given that Conte seems to value Perisic and Sessegnon quite highly. In addition, Udogie will also be added to the squad at the end of the season unless Spurs decide to send the youngster out on loan again.
