According to a report from Calciomercatoweb.it, Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing a sensational double swoop for Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic and Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni in January.

Vlahovic’s future is up in the air at the moment with the striker’s current deal running out in the summer of 2023 and talks between him and Fiorentina allegedly breaking down.

Over the last few weeks, various reports have backed Tottenham to swoop for the Serbian international when the transfer market reopens.

Meanwhile, Tchouameni has taken Ligue 1 by storm since the start of the season with his eye-catching performances and his stock is now growing rapidly.

The midfielder has now made five senior appearances for Les Blues, who have no shortage of talent in their midfield ranks.

Calciomercatoweb.it have now suggested that both Vlahovic and Tchouameni are on Fabio Paratici’s radar ahead of January. The report explains that the Italian is keen on snapping up Vlahovic after failing to get a deal for the Serbian over the line in the summer.

It is asserted that the North Londoners could table an offer of €60m (£50.6m) plus bonuses for the Fiorentina man when the transfer window reopens.

The report goes on to add that Spurs could also table an offer of around €45m (£37.9m) for Tchouameni, which could still fall short of Monaco’s asking price.

It is explained that Juventus are also interested in both players but do not have the financial means to compete with Spurs at the moment.

Spurs Web Opinion

Tottenham usually tend not to do business during January, especially when it comes to big-money deals. It will be interesting to see if that changes with Paratici now in charge.

The only way I can see Spurs spending big on Vlahvoic is if they feel they might lose Kane, which does not seem to be the case as things stand.
