Report: Spurs could move for Bayern Munich attacker in January

According to a report from Spanish publication Fichajes, Tottenham Hotspur could make a January move for Bayern Munich winger, Kingsley Coman.

Coman has shown glimpses of real quality for Bayern and the French national team over the last few years but the wingers’ development has been curtailed a bit, partly due to injury woes.

Fabio Paratici reportedly played a key role in taking the 25-year-old from Paris Saint-Germain to Juventus in 2014 before the player eventually left the Italian club to join Bayern four years ago.

If Fichajes’ latest update is to be believed, Paratici could now look to bring the speedy attacker to North London.

The report explains that Coman is likely to leave the Allianz Arena in the January transfer window after falling down the pecking order at the Bundesliga champions.

It is asserted that the Lilywhites are looking for offensive reinforcements and are considering moving for the French attacker.

However, it is explained that Tottenham could face competition from Liverpool and Juventus, who are also thought to be keen on Coman.

Spurs Web Opinion

Coman would undoubtedly strengthen our starting eleven as I believe he will be an upgrade over both Lucas and Bergwijn. However, I am not convinced that we need another winger in January. A new central midfielder and a forward should be the priorities for the North London club.
