Report: Spurs could receive a triple injury boost for Crystal Palace clash

The Standard have claimed that Destiny Udogie, Pedro Porro and Manor Solomon could all be fit for Tottenham’s clash against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Tottenham will have had two weeks off after their last game against Wolves, with their clash against Chelsea being postponed due to the Blues’ involvement in the Carabao Cup final last weekend.

That has given Spurs’ injured stars some extra time to recover, with The Standard suggesting that Ange Postecoglou might be boosted by the return of three players.

Tottenham could welcome Udogie, Porro and Solomon back

The report says that while Udogie is likely to be fit to take on the Eagles, there are still some doubts over whether Solomon and Porro will play a part on Saturday.

While Porro and Udogie have missed just one game, Solomon has not featured since the start of October 2023.

According to The Standard, the winger did train with his Tottenham teammates this week, with Ange Postecoglou set to confirm in his press conference this week how the 24-year-old has progressed.

Both Ryan Sessegnon and Fraser Forster are long-term absentees, with the former not expected to kick a ball again this season while the latter is expected to be out until April.

Even if Solomon comes through training unscathed this week, I do not expect Postecoglou to risk the winger against Palace. Given the options that the Australian now has in the forward areas, he can afford to give the Israeli international the time he needs to recover fully.
