Report: Spurs could turn attention to 22-year-old if they lose Harry Kane

CMW.it have claimed that Tottenham Hotspur could look to snap up Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic if they lose Harry Kane.

There continues to be plenty of speculation on the future of Kane, who has less than two years left on his contract with Spurs (Transfermarkt).

Bayern Munich are thought to be huge admirers of the England captain (Dharmesh Sheth via GiveMeSport) and it emerged last week that Tottenham are becoming ‘increasingly concerned’ about the Bundesliga club’s interest in the 29-year-old (90 min).

CMW.it have now reported that should the North London club lose Kane, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy would have to make a big signing to please Antonio Conte.

It is suggested that the Lilywhites could turn their attentions to Vlahovic, who is described as an ‘old obsession’ of the Italian coach.

Vlahovic blew a little hot and cold in the second half of last season following his £66.6m move from Fiorentina to Juventus in January but the centre-forward has made a bright start to the new campaign, having scored four goals in six Serie A matches so far (Transfermarkt).

CMW.it claim that the Serbian is now at loggerheads with Massimiliano Allegri and is already thinking about leaving the Old Lady.

It is suggested that Vlahovic could be bound for London as Kane’s replacement should the Spurs striker depart in the upcoming transfer windows.

Spurs Web Opinion

Vlahiovic is an exceptional talent and I have no doubt that he is going to evolve into one of the best centre-forwards in world football. However, any talk of Kane leaving Spurs is premature. If we carry on our good start to the season, there is a good chance that the striker will sign a new contract before the World Cup.
