Football Insider report that Tottenham Hotspur have no intention of cashing in on Yves Bissouma despite the fact that the club has suspended the midfielder.

Yves Bissouma’s controversial social media incident
A video was posted on social media by Bissouma in which the Tottenham man was seen inhaling laughing gas from a balloon, a substance which is illegal to consume in the UK.
The 27-year-old apologised for his conduct, stating that it shows a ‘severe lack of judgement’ while Spurs confirmed that they are dealing with the issue as an ‘internal matter’ (The Sun).
Ange Postecoglou announced today that Tottenham have suspended Bissouma for the first match of the season against Leicester City as a punishment (Football London).
Bissouma had played a part in every single one of Tottenham’s pre-season friendlies this summer.

Bissouma will not be sold by Spurs
Football Insider have now revealed that Ange Postecoglou does not have any plans of freezing Bissouma out of his squad completely despite his mistake.
In fact, it is alleged that the player is seen as a ‘key’ part of his set-up by the manager and is expected to have a regular starting role for the upcoming campaign.
The publication adds that Postecoglou is of the belief that Bissouma is ‘perfect’ for his high-intensity style of play, with the former Brighton man’s ability to win back the ball and recycle possession being highly valued by the Spurs boss.
Speaking about the incident and suspension today, Postecoglou said (Football London): “I’ve been in the game for a long time, when a situation like this arises, I’ve tried to look at them in a couple of ways. First, there’s a person and it’s Biss and he’s made a poor decision.
“There are still sanctions involved, and some of those are educational. He is a footballer with responsibilities.
“He won’t be available on Monday. We’ve suspended him from Monday’s game. He needs to build that trust back with both me and the group. The door is open for him and we can help him realise the decisions he makes impact the group.”

Ange would have not been happy with what Bissouma did and would have given him a clear telling-off and a warning.
The pair share a good relationship and one would expect the Malian to learn from his mistake.
