Report: Spurs determined not to allow Pochettino to poach these two first-team stars

According to a report from The Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur will not allow either Dele Alli or Hugo Lloris to join Paris Saint-Germain during the January transfer window.

There has been plenty of speculation suggesting that Mauricio Pochettino wants to make Dele Alli one of his first signings as PSG boss.

The Argentine has spoken very highly of the midfielder in the past and it was under his stewardship that the former MK Dons man produced his best form in a Spurs shirt.

Meanwhile, The Sun claim that Tottenham are concerned that Pochettino could also look to poach Lloris and reunite with the Spurs captain in Paris.

The Frenchman has been in brilliant form since returning from his injury at the start of last year and has earned many points for the Lilywhites this season.

However, The Mail suggest that Spurs will turn down any offers for Alli and Lloris this month and are determined to hang on to both players.

Spurs Web Opinion

I can potentially see the club reluctantly agreeing to allow Dele to join PSG on loan as it certainly does not look like he is going to get a look in at Spurs in the second half of the season. However, I would expect Tottenham to soon begin talks over a new contract with Lloris as the Frenchman has been in brilliant form over the last year.
