The Tanguy Ndombele to Tottenham Hotspur is already becoming this summer’s main transfer saga following on from last season’s Jack Grealish drama.
Football.London claim that the Lyon midfielder is closing in on a move to North London and a deal could even be announced this week.
The 22-year-old revealed recently that he would be interested in a move to Spurs after calling them a ‘big club (Telefoot).
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas recently brought Spurs fans back down to earth with their hopes of landing the French international after he poured water on speculation that a deal had already been agreed between both clubs (Telegraph).
The report suggests that despite Aulas’ comments a deal is on the verge of being completed which could see Ndombele presented at Hotspur Way in the coming days.
Ndombele had been attracting the interest of several other top European clubs, including Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus and would represent a huge coup if Spurs can get the deal over the line (Sky Sports).
