Milliyet have claimed that Galatasaray are set to meet with Tottenham Hotspur to discuss terminating Tanguy Ndombele’s loan in January.
Ndombele has not been able to make any sort of impact since his loan switch to Galatasaray in the summer.
Okan Buruk handed a couple of starts to the midfielder against Alanyaspor and Manchester United recently, but Fanatik reported last week that his performances were far from satisfactory.
The outlet added that the Istanbul club had decided that the 26-year-old ‘cannot deliver expected results’ and had begun looking at options to replace the player.
Meeting expected between Spurs and Galatasaray
Milliyet have now backed up that information, stating that not only are Galatasaray not going to activate the option to buy Ndombele but they are actively looking to end his spell at the club.
It is explained that the Turkish club have already begun work on replacing the on-loan Tottenham as well as on Angelino, who is on loan from RB Leipzig.
The report asserts that Galatasaray are now ‘expected’ to hold a meeting with Spurs to discuss the termination of the deal.

It is difficult to see how Ndombele bounces back from this and it seems like the midfielder might even be in line for an early retirement like David Bentley, having seemingly fallen out of love with the game.
Tottenham might have no choice but to terminate what is left of his contract as I do not see any club being willing to pay a fee for the Frenchman.
