Report: Spurs eyeing summer move for PL star with 15 goal contributions this season

Journalist Dean Jones has revealed in his column in Sports Lens that Tottenham Hotspur are plotting a summer move for Wolves winger Pedro Neto.

Neto is currently playing the best football of his career, with the winger showing signs of having come of age as a player this season.

The silky winger, who can play in either flank and has occasionally even operated as an attacking midfielder, has three goals and 12 assists to his name so far this season, which is particularly impressive when one considers the fact that he has missed a significant number of matches through injury.

Tottenham are interested in Pedro Neto at Wolves

Tottenham’s interest in the Portugal international first came to light back in October of last year, with TEAMtalk reporting at the time that Ange Postecoglou’s men are keeping close tabs on the player, who was alleged to be valued at £50m.

Jones has now backed up the claim, insisting that Neto is still very much on the radar of the Lilywhites.

The journalist explained that Tottenham are keen on strengthening out wide when the transfer window opens next summer, with the Wolves star being one of several options that they are monitoring.

There have never been any doubts about Neto’s talent but his injury record over the last few years does not make for good reading. That might put off Tottenham and other suitors from spending a big fee on the winger.
