Report: Spurs face big six competition to sign £20m Premier League striker

Tottenham Hotspur are said to be one of the clubs vying to sign Bournemouth striker Josh King this summer, according to a report by Sky Sports.

The 28-year-old has impressed during his time on the south coast, however, his form has dipped this season partly due to his injury problems, with the striker only netting four goals in nineteen league appearances (transfermarkt.com).

King has just a year left on his contract with Bournemouth and it is claimed that he will be sold by the club ahead of next season.

Meanwhile, The Evening Standard claim that the versatile forward could be available for just £20million.

Sky Sports suggest that Spurs are likely to face competition for the Norwegian with Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United also said to be interested in signing the pacey striker.

Josh King hasn’t had the best of seasons but that can be said of almost the entire Bournemouth side this campaign. His athleticism and versatility could make him a decent squad option. I would be surprised if we were not interested at the reported £20million price.
