Report: Spurs face competition for £12m 21-year-old from fellow Premier League club

It was reported by The Sun earlier in the season that the majority of Premier League clubs were looking at QPR star man, Eberechi Eze after an impressive start to the season.

This report claimed that Tottenham were expected to make a £20m bid to QPR in the January transfer market in an attempt to steal a march on Eze.

However, the sacking of Pochettino apparently may have scuppered such a bid from the Lilywhites, with no guarantee that Mourinho would be such a fan.

This came as Mourinho had reportedly told his squad that he was in no rush to make immediate signings in North London.

Spurs recently shelled out for youngsters Ryan Sessegnon and Jack Clarke from the Championship, so could Eze still follow?

The Sun now claim that Sheffield United have joined the race for Eze and would have to come up with just £12m for him. The report still mentions Spurs as a team that are admiring Eze.
