Report: Spurs face unusual complication in Ryan Sessegnon deal

Tottenham Hotspur are said to still be interested in signing Fulham youngster, Ryan Sessegnon, this summer after the club were relegated from the Premier League last season.

This would be the second Championship teenage winger Spurs have signed this transfer window after the secured a deal for Jack Clarke from Leeds United yesterday (BBC).

Ryan Sessegnon is also said to be keen on a move to Tottenham in order to stay in London, as well as linking up with Mauricio Pochettino (Guardian).

However, Bleacher Report’s Dean Jones has now revealed that one complication may be a stumbling block for a quick deal between the two clubs.

Spurs are reportedly also keen on signing Ryan’s twin brother, Steven, as part of one deal this summer (TalkSPORT).

Steven has been known to play in both midfield and at right-back, but has been hampered with injuries throughout his short senior career.

The Daily Star claim that Fulham want £40m for Ryan Sessegnon alone despite the fact he only has a year left on his contract, so it could be a while before a deal is agreed.
