Bild have claimed that Tottenham’s failure to persuade Victor Osimhen to join could mean that they end up hanging on to Harry Kane.
Reports over the last few days continue to indicate that Bayern are not prepared to give up on their pursuit of Kane despite Tottenham’s intention to hold on to the centre-forward (Sky Sports).
Over the last 48 hours, it has emerged that Spurs are becoming increasingly confident of holding on to their star striker, with the club’s hierarchy said to believe that Ange Postecoglou could convince the 29-year-old to stick around (90 min).

Osimhen is not a fan of the idea of joining Tottenham
Bild have now offered an additional reason why Tottenham might decide against cashing in on Kane.
The outlet explains that Osinhen had been identified by the Lilywhites hierarchy as their preferred replacement for the England captain should he depart N17 this summer.
However, the Napoli striker has now reportedly informed Spurs that he is not willing to join the club as he does not believe Ange Postecoglou’s men are ready to win titles.
The report adds that this is ‘anything but good for Bayern’ as Levy might now decide to block Kane’s exit.

Over the past few days, an increasing number of reports seem to be suggesting that Kane is now more likely to stay put at Tottenham.
The situation could change if Bayern make a £100m offer over the coming days but there is no indication that the Bundesliga club would be prepared to spend such a high amount.
