Report: Spurs first-team player could leave club in January after joining just four months ago

Tottenham Hotspur were certainly busy in the summer transfer window after nearly 18-months without a single new signing under Mauricio Pochettino.

The club introduced Jack Clarke, who returned to Leeds on loan, Tanguy Ndombele, Ryan Sessegnon, and Giovani Lo Celso on loan from Real Betis.

The latter struggled to make his mark early on in the season, with Pochettino wanting to give him time to adjust to a new country, new team, and new league.

After suffering a month out through injury, Lo Celso finally earned his first start against Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League, scoring the opening goal. He then started against Sheffield United in the next Premier League game.

However, under Mourinho, the Argentine has only had one cameo appearance so far, with reports claiming that his relationship is not the best with Jose.

It has been claimed that Lo Celso is now considering a January exit in order to seek first-team football, although Spurs and Real Betis would both have to be involved in any deal (Estadio Deportivo via Marca).
