Report: Spurs give up hope with one manager and set to interview another

Football Insider have reported that Tottenham have finally given up hope in their quest to appoint Brendan Rodgers this summer.

Spurs sacked Jose Mourinho last month before appointing Ryan Mason as the interim head coach until the end of the season.

However, they have yet to name who the next permanent manager will be, while Mourinho is already signed on to return to work next season with Roma.

It is said that, barring a shock U-turn, Rodgers has no interest in leaving Leicester City. The Foxes took a major step towards Champions League football last night with their win over Man United.

Football Insider go on to reveal that Spurs have struggled to lure multiple established Premier League managers in their hunt for a new head coach.

However, the report adds that the Lilywhites will interview Scott Parker about the role after he was relegated with Fulham this week. Daniel Levy is said to hold Parker in high regard.
