Report: Spurs have ‘advantage’ in race for striker this summer

Tag 24 have reported that Tottenham could have an advantage in the race for Stuttgart striker, Sasa Kalajdzic this summer.

It is claimed that Spurs may be able to offer the centre-forward a spotlight on the European stage, which could be a contributing factor to a potential move.

Kalajdzic has recorded an impressive 14 goals and five assists in 28 Bundesliga games this season and Stuttgart are said to be keen on keeping him.

The report claims that clubs around Europe have been monitoring the 23-year-old for some time now, including Tottenham.

Unfortunately, it is also reported that the Stuttgart sporting director, Sven Mislintat would likely only sell Kalajdzic for a ‘crazy high transfer fee’.

Sasa Kalajdzic has apparently not given the impression that he is keen on pushing to a move to a bigger club in order to increase his wages.

However, the chance to play on the European stage is mentioned as a potential pulling factor for Tottenham. Sport Witness label this as an ‘advantage’.
