According to the print edition of AS (02/06/23 as relayed by Sport Witness), Tottenham Hotspur have quoted Real Madrid a fee of around €100m (£86m) for Harry Kane.
After it was confirmed over the weekend that Karim Benzema would be leaving Real Madrid this summer, multiple reports from Spain have talked up the chances of Los Blancos making a move for Kane.
Marca claimed on Sunday that the La Liga giants had already contacted Tottenham as well as the England captain’s representatives regarding a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

The publication claimed that Harry Kane was keen on a switch to Madrid while Daniel Levy was open to selling Spurs’ talisman to a club outside the Premier League.
The same information has now been backed up by AS, who say that Levy’s preference to sell the centre-forward to a foreign club gives Real Madrid an advantage.
The publication adds that Spurs have ‘already given Real Madrid the first figure’ to negotiate the player’s sale, which is set at €100m (£86m).

The report adds that Kane is seen as ‘option A’ by Carlo Ancelotti and his staff, while Kai Havertz is ‘option B’, with the Chelsea star said to be valued at €60m (£51.6m).

I would personally much prefer to see Kane go to Madrid than another Premier League club.
If the striker chooses against signing a new contract this summer, one can argue that it might be in Tottenham’s best interest to sell him to Madrid and give Postecoglou the funds to rebuild the squad.
The Australian prefers his forwards to be pressing machines and might have to slightly alter his approach if Kane stays, given that pressing is not the 29-year-old’s biggest strength.
