Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly been alerted to the availability of Dinamo Zagreb attacker Dani Olmo after comments made from the club’s head coach.

Football London claim that Spurs were linked with Olmo in the summer, along with Manchester United and Liverpool.

However, they also add in the report that they were never given the impression that Spurs were looking to actually sign him last window.

Olmo scored six in his last five Croatian League matches last season, followed by three goals at the Euro U21 Championships, and now six goals in 15 games this season (Football London).

Football London say that Spurs have now been alerted to the player, along with other interested parties, as Nenad Bjelica has claimed that Olmo is ready to play for the biggest clubs in Europe.

He also added that the player and Dinamo Zagreb would decide together what was best for both parties, admitting that his time at the club is coming to an end.

Bjelica said (24sata): “Dani is impressive both as a footballer and as a person. Very modest and ambitious at the same time. He wants to learn every day and I’m proud to have him on the team.

“I think we are just watching his last matches at Dinamo. There are so many offers. In the end, the club and the player will decide together what is best for both sides. He is ready to play for the best clubs in Europe.”
