Tottenham Hotspur have had a bid accepted by Inter Milan for striker Lautaro Martinez, according to the Sunday Times.
The report claims that Tottenham’s bid is in excess of £60million and in doing so, they have beat Arsenal.
The 23-year-old would be purchased as a strike partner to play alongside Harry Kane, with Tottenham insistent that the England captain will not be sold this summer despite interest from Manchester City.
There are likely to be add ons as part of the deal, with the Serie A giants valuing the front man at £76.8million.
The Argentina international scored 19 goals in 48 appearances for Inter Milan in all competitions last season, while also providing eleven assists (transfermarkt).

If Tottenham were to land Martinez, it would be a huge signal of ambition from Daniel Levy to Harry Kane that the club look to be serious of getting back into the top four and continuing the much-needed rebuild.
