Report: Spurs have chance to finalise Argentine signing in January for a better deal

Tottenham Hotspur new boy, Giovani Lo Celso, is currently on duty for Argentina in the latest international break, along with his Spurs teammate Juan Foyth.

Lo Celso has only just broken into the Tottenham first team after a string of appearances from the bench, but he has now started the last two matches.

The playmaker made his full debut against Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League, even opening the scoring on the night in a 4-0 victory.

Lo Celso then started again just a few days later when Spurs welcomed Sheffield United to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, although he couldn’t rescue the win with a goal this time.

The Argentine is currently still only on loan from Real Betis until the end of the season, where Spurs could make the deal permanent.

However, Marca have now claimed that Spurs have an option to make the loan a permanent move as early as January, potentially for a more favourable deal.
