Cacliomercato.it have claimed that Tottenham Hotspur have made contact with the representatives of Andreas Christensen over a free transfer in the summer.
Christensen’s future at Chelsea is up in the air, with the centre-back’s current deal Stamford Bridge set to run out at the end of the season (Transfermarkt).
CalcioMercato.it have now claimed that Conte, who managed the Dane during his time in charge of the Blues, wants to reunite with the defender in North London.
The report states that Bayern Munich and Spurs have had ‘concrete contacts’ with Christensen’s agents in the ‘last hours’, with Tottenham’s interest being driven by their head coach.
It is revealed that Barcelona, Inter Milan and Juventus are also keen on a move for the 25-year-old.
However, Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Christensen would not consider a proposal from any Premier League club out of respect to Chelsea.
He also backed up Calciomercato.it’s assertion about Barca’s and Bayern’s interest in the centre-back.
Andreas Christensen won’t consider any proposal from Premier League clubs to respect Chelsea. Barcelona and FC Bayern are both interested in signing him since January – still in talks. 🔵👀 #CFC
Barça have approached both Azpilicueta and Christensen. No full agreement yet. https://t.co/MmWGvQiCvY

Spurs Web Opinion
Christensen would be an excellent fit for Conte’s back three and it is not surprising that the Spurs head coach is keen on snapping him up.
However, like Rudiger, I do not think the Dane would want to ruin his Chelsea legacy by moving to Spurs, particularly when he is likely to have so many offers to choose from.
