The Welsh Rugby Union is said to be searching for a new venue to hold matches this summer as they look to overcome ‘a minefield of complications’.
The Welsh national side have six matches to play this autumn, with five currently classed as home games, even though the Principality Stadium is ‘out of bounds’.
It has been revealed that WRU have been in talks with other rugby nations and Premier League football clubs over playing in London this autumn.
Wales Online claim that WRU boss, Martyn Phillips, has already talked to Spurs about using the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the rugby internationals.
However, they have also spoken to Arsenal and West Ham’s Olympic Stadium, Swansea City’s Liberty Stadium, the Cardiff City Stadium, and England’s Twickenham also remain options.

With the Wales matches likely to be played behind closed doors, Tottenham have a unique chance to sell the stadium usage to someone who does not require fans to attend.
