According to journalist Lorenzo Lepore, Tottenham Hotspur have held talks with the representatives of Shakhtar Donetsk star Heorhiy Sudakov about a summer transfer.
Sudakov has emerged as one of the best young talents in the Ukrainian top flight over the last couple of years, with the midfielder having nine goals and six assists to his name across all competitions in 2023-24.
Journalist Ben Jacobs revealed in his column on CaughtOffside last month that Tottenham are among several Premier League clubs who had expressed an interest in signing the 21-year-old.
He suggested that the Lilywhites see the Ukrainian international as a good fit for Ange Postecoglou’s system but added that Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea are also on his trail.
Spurs have held a meeting about Heorhiy Sudakov
Lepore has now named the same clubs as the ones who are plotting moves for Sudakov, with the journalist revealing that both Tottenham and Chelsea have already met with the player’s camp.
However, he makes it clear that no concrete offer has been made for the youngster from any of the Premier League sides.

The journalist also asserts that it would take a fee of around €65m-€75m (£56m-£64.5m) to poach the player from Shakhtar this summer.

While Shakhtar may be hoping for a similar fee to the one they got for Mykhailo Mudryk, I do not see any Premier League club paying over £50m for Sudakov in the current financial climate.
Tottenham might have a disadvantage in the race as their relationship with Shakhtar is not great after the disagreement between the two clubs regarding the Manor Solomon deal.
