Report: Spurs have ‘knocked on door’ of forward Paratici is a fan of

Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that Tottenham are interested in signing Sassuolo and Italy attacker, Dominico Berardi this summer.

Berardi impressed during Italy’s Euro 2020 opener against Turkey this week and it was his cross the deflected off Merih Demiral into the net to open the scoring.

With Fabio Paratici now taking over the footballing side of things at Tottenham Hotspur, it is said that the former Juventus man is focused on bolstering the squad.

Berardi has apparently been ‘intriguing’ clubs in the Premier League for some time and Paratici has admired the attacker for a number of years too.

Therefore, Spurs are reportedly one of multiple Premier League clubs to have ‘knocked on the door’ of Sassuolo to enquire about the Italian star this summer.

The report claims that Sassuolo value Berardi at around £43m as he has come off an impressive season in the Serie A, scoring 17 and assisting eight in 30 games.

It is said that the winger now feels ready to take a step forward in his career and is open to a move to another country if the opportunity emerges.
