Report: Spurs have left many fans frustrated with steep Champions League ticket prices

Tottenham Hotspur have left a number of their fans distressed this week at the exceedingly high prices of the upcoming Champions League match against Bayern.

Bayern Munich is Spurs’ first home game of the new Champions League campaign, with many keen on seeing their side take on one of the best teams in the world.

However, it looks as if the opportunity will come at a heavy cost, as the Standard claim that tickets for the match will cost adults between £52 and £98.

This comes as the match has been classed as a Category A event, with the other two matches in the group against Red Star Belgrade and Olympiacos ranked as Category C.

Once you factor in travel to the match and possibly food on the day, this turns into a very expensive night out for some Spurs fans, especially if they end up losing.

While Tottenham used to offer all three Champions League group stage matches in a cheaper bundle offer before the draw was made, they have scrapped it for the last two seasons.
