Speculation linking Tottenham Hotspur with a move for RB Leipzig winger Marcel Sabitzer does not seem to be going away.
Sabitzer put in two excellent displays to help Leipzig knock Spurs out of the Champions League at the round of sixteen stage last season, and reports emerged soon after that Jose Mourinho was impressed by what he had seen and wanted to bring him to North London.
Reports once again resurfaced this month in Germany that Sabtizer could potentially be Tottenham bound after suggestions that Leipzig were unlikely to offer him a new deal.
Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has since confirmed that Tottenham are one of several clubs interested in the versatile attacker.
A report by SportBild (as relayed by Sport Witness) has now suggested that a move to England could be on the cards for Sabitzer, who has always been attracted by the prospect of playing in the Premier League.
The report alleges that Spurs have contacted Leipzig ‘several times’ about the possibility of signing the former Rapid Wien star and that a transfer is ‘conceivable’
