Report: Spurs have offered Lucas Moura plus cash in exchange deal for striker

Tottenham Hotspur have offered Lucas Moura plus an undisclosed amount to Napoli in order to land Arkadiusz Milik, according to the latest reports from Italy.

Spurs have been linked heavily with a move for Milik over the past few weeks with CalcioNapoli24 and journalist Nicolo Schira both claiming that the Lilywhites want to sign the Poland international this summer.

The striker has seen himself fall down the pecking order at Napoli, having made just sixteen league appearances for the Serie A side this season, with many of those coming from the bench (transfermarkt).

The Express previously reported that Napoli wanted around £40 million to part ways with the striker.

However, Tuttosport now report (as relayed by Sport Witness) that Spurs have put an offer on the table including Lucas Moura and cash in order to sign the 26-year-old.

The report claims that Tottenham have been ‘pressing for weeks’ to land Milik. Although Juventus are also said to be interested, it is revealed that Napoli would prefer to sell the striker to a foreign club.

Spurs Web Opinion

I am convinced that there isn’t much truth to this report because I cannot see Jose Mourinho getting rid of Lucas Moura. It is clear the Brazilian and the Spurs boss have taken to one another. However, Milik would be a terrific addition for us and fits the profile of what Mourinho is reportedly looking for this summer – an experienced target man.
