According to Ekrem Konur, Tottenham Hotspur have now prepared an opening offer for Inter Milan right-back Denzel Dumfries.
Dumfries has enjoyed an impressive first season in the Serie A following his move from PSV Eindhoven last summer, having notched up four goals and seven assists across all competitions so far (Transfermarkt).
The print edition of Tuttosport (21/04/22 as relayed by Sport Witness) revealed last week that the Netherland international is one of the right wing-back options on Tottenham’s radar.
The report claimed the Lilywhites could face competition from Bayern Munich for the 26-year-old and added that Inter have ‘already been informed of a potential interest’ from Tottenham’s managing director of football Fabio Paratici.
Konur has now revealed that the North Londoners are ready to launch an opening offer of £20m for Dumfries.
However, he added that Inter value the right-back at around €40m (£33.7m) and would consider accepting a fee in that region.

Spurs Web Opinion
Dumfries has done well in his first season in Italy but I would be underwhelmed by the Dutchman’s signings. I would rather see Spurs go for someone like Wilfried Singo, Tariq Lamptey or Djed Spence – all of whom have much higher ceilings than the Inter star.
