Report: Spurs have spoke to two experienced German managers

Tottenham Hotspur have spoken to both Bayern Munich boss Hansi Flick and former RB Leipzig manager Ralf Rangnick, according to The Guardian.

The report claims that while Spurs have held discussions with Rangnick, it is unsure whether this is over the vacant managerial position or for a directorship role at the club.

Rangnick has been out of work since leaving his role as Red Bull’s head of sport and development last year and has been credited for being the main inspiration behind some of Germany’s best managers in recent years as reported by ESPN, such as Thomas Tuchel, Jurgen Klopp and Julian Nagelsmann.

Flick will Bayern at the end of the season where he will be succeeded by Nagelsmann and has heavily been linked with taking over from Joachim Löw as German national team boss after the European Championships.

The Telegraph have previously reported that Daniel Levy is keen on Flick and the German would be interested in the Tottenham job if it was offered to him.
