According to SportsMediaset, Tottenham Hotspur have stepped up their pursuit of Torino centre-back Gleison Bremer over the last few days.
Previous reports have indicated that Antonio Conte wants to sign two centre-backs this summer, with Bremer being one of the names on the North London club’s radar (Football.London)
The Brazilian said recently that he expects to leave Torino this summer and admitted that he is keen to test himself in the Champions League (ESPN Brazil).
Torino Granata reported a few days ago that Torino are waiting for Spurs to make an offer for the centre-back.
SportMediaset have now offered an update on Bremer’s future, explaining that Inter are still in pole position to land the defender.
The 25-year-old is said to have agreed on personal terms with the Nerazzurri but it is explained that they are yet to agree on a transfer fee with Torino.
Simone Inzaghi’s side are also thought to be exploring the possibility of including a player in a potential part-exchange deal for the Brazilian.
In addition, AC Milan are also said to be on Bremer’s trail but pressure from Spurs is alleged to have ‘risen’ over recent days.
Torino are reportedly aiming to make at least €35m (£30m) from the centre-back’s sale this summer.

One would hope that if Inter do sign Bremer, that would potentially lead to them softening their stance on Alessandro Bastoni. However, the Nerazzurri might view the Brazilian as a direct replacement for Milan Skriniar, who seems to be ending closer to a big-money move to PSG.
