Report: Spurs submitted an offer to PSG for Edinson Cavani

Tottenham Hotspur now look to be without Harry Kane until early April after the striker sustained a nasty injury on New Years Day against Southampton.

When stretching for the ball, Kane managed to rupture the tendon in his left hamstring, which eventually needed surgery for correction, leaving him on the sidelines for months.

Now with a senior striker problem, with Lucas Moura doing his best to fill in, Spurs have apparently made an audacious offer for PSG big-name striker Edinson Cavani.

This comes after the Uruguayan reportedly handed in his transfer request earlier this month. The Express say that Chelsea, Man United, and Atletico Madrid are all interested.

Aksam have reported that Tottenham made an offer to PSG for Cavani, but the player prefers a move to Atletico in Spain, so Spurs will have to look elsewhere.

Vedat Muriqi from Fenerbahce is named as a potential alternative for the Lilywhites this month.
