Report: Spurs have three-man shortlist for new centre-back this summer

Football London have reported that Tottenham are on the lookout for a new centre-back this summer but far from a squad option. Daniel Levy is after a new talisman at the back who can lead the side and take some responsibility.

The Lilywhites have lacked that this season with Eric Dier, Toby Alderweireld and Davinson Sanchez failing to impress with any consistency, although Joe Rodon has enjoyed a good breakthrough campaign in North London.

Football London report that Tottenham have now drafted a three-man shortlist for their centre-back shopping ahead of the summer transfer window.

Joachim Andersen, currently on loan at Fulham from Lyon, is said to be on said list after impressing in the Premier League this season.

Fiorentina defender, Nikola Milenkovic, is also said to be on the Spurs radar, especially considering that he has just one year left on his current contract.

Finally, experienced Brighton and Premier League centre-back, Lewis Dunk is said to be someone that Spurs admire, with his commanding aerial ability and leadership skills.
